What’s New at The PAC – October 2026

PAC Spotlight

The October PAC Spotlight shines on Central Hardin High School’s Em Hayes

What have you seen at The PAC?  Youth Theatre Productions such as: Thoroughly Modern Millie, Marry Poppins, Cats, and Seussical. High School Productions of: Mean Girls, Into the Woods, and Legally Blonde. Allegro’s production of The Wizard of Oz and The Lion King. Kentucky Shakespeare Productions such as Julius Caesar and Macbeth, and the ProAm production of Mary Poppins.

What have you participated in at the PAC? Several Band Concerts from 7-11th grade, including the KMEA Large Ensemble and Performance Assessment, with more to come this school year. I performed at the Board of Education Banquet in April of 2024. I performed as an ensemble character in the Youth Theatre of Hardin County’s production of Matilda. I have done 4 shows with my high school drama club including SpongeBob the musical, Carrie, As You Like the musical, The Bully Plays, and we are currently rehearsing Fiddler on The Roof.

How have you benefited from the PAC? The feeling you get while performing in front of a live audience under the stage lights is one of my favorite things to experience. The PAC has given the organizations I am a part of a space to perform. Without The PAC our community would lose the opportunity to enjoy the performing arts, and many talented individuals would lose their space to showcase their talents and pursue their passions. All in all, the PAC has provided me the space to perform which has most benefited me.

Why should the PAC be important to others? The PAC offers so much opportunity. You don’t have to perform to enjoy a PAC experience, I have enjoyed being an audience member of several shows almost as much as I have enjoyed performing for an audience at the PAC. It has an opportunity for everyone to enjoy.
