BART’S BLOG – OCTOBER 2023

It’s Time For ANIMANIACS…IN CONCERT!
October 20
ONE NIGHT ONLY

Join the voices of Animaniacs – the iconic animated Warner Bros series – for a “zany, animany and totally insaney” evening as they perform the world-famous songs from the beloved cartoon series backed by the original projected animation.

Animaniacs in Concert stars the show’s original Emmy-Winning composer, RANDY ROGEL, on piano and the voice-talents of Emmy winner ROB PAULSEN (Yakko & Pinky on Animaniacs; Raphael on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Maurice LaMarche (The Brain on Animaniacs; The King in Disney’s Frozen; Kif & Calculon on Futurama).

Animaniacs remains as topical and relevant today as it was when the TV series debuted in the early 1990s. With new episodes currently streaming on HULU, Animaniacs is a multigenerational animated favorite with universally-recognized hit songs. Fans of all ages will experience Animaniacs like never before…especially those who grew up watching the series. As its creators say, “Animaniacs in Concert is for the adults – it’s hip, it’s funny…but kids will love it, too!” Be sure to stick around afterward for photos and autographs!

Tickets for ANIMANIACS IN CONCERT are on sale now.

PAC Spotlight – October 2023

This month, the PAC Spotlight is featuring Central Hardin High School’s Kristyona Renville, currently performing in their production of Decision Height this month at the PAC.

What have you participated in at the PAC?
I have participated in The Wizard of Oz and The 10 Minute Musicals, and now I’ll be participating in Decision Height.

What have been your most rewarding PAC experiences?
My most rewarding PAC experience is when I get to meet the people who play the characters. Everyone is always really nice. And watching others perform is mesmerizing because of how into the characters they get.

What did you learn from your PAC experiences?
I learned so much from acting at the PAC and how close everyone became while working on a show was great.

How have you benefited from the PAC?
I have benefited from the PAC because it made me more comfortable to be myself in front of others, get used to how things work backstage, form a connection with the people I work with and have experiences with, and actually learn how things work.

Why is the PAC important to you?
It gives me a sense of belonging, and I feel like it’s where I should be, and there is nothing I love more than watching plays and performing.

Why should the PAC be important to others?
The PAC should be important to others because it really inspires and creates bonds, and the audience can always feel some sort of connection, and I hope that’s not just me. The PAC is an amazing, strong place where people can come together and be themselves. It welcomes everyone.
