BART’S BLOG – FEBRUARY 2021

BART’S BLOG – FEBRUARY 2021

A flash of lightning reveals a dead body, and nearby – fresh and clear – lay the footprint of a gigantic hound.  So begins the PAC’s penultimate installment of The Novel Stage Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

Much like the eponymous Hound of the Baskervilles, the specter of COVID haunted us throughout this production.  Just as the play’s characters followed markers to avoid being sucked into the Grimpen Mire, the cast and crew adhered to the PAC’s pandemic rules of operation to prevent the spread of the virus amongst our team.

Even under such hindrances, the world’s most famous mystery is brought to life through the vivid characterizations, imaginative staging, and incredible sound and lighting design that PAC audiences have come to expect.

In the end, we could not have the In-Person audiences we’d wished for, but our actors were able to act sans masks for four Live-Streamed performances last month.  These performances have now been edited together along with rare camera angles that will place the audience right on stage with the performers as well as behind-the-scenes footage to create a unique On-Demand production that all fans of Sherlock, local theatre, and the PAC will not want to miss.

HOW TO GET TICKETS?
Tickets for the On-Demand performances from February 22-28 are $10 plus fees and are on sale now at www.ThePAC.net.

HOW TO ACCESS THE PERFORMANCE?
After purchasing your On-Demand ticket, you’ll be emailed a receipt with a link to view the performance from your computer, phone, or any other electronic device.  Cable access is not required.

Congratulations to BEN D’AMICO, SHELBY GREENWELL & RICHARD SCHROEDER – lucky winners of $20 PAC gift certificates for completing their Audience Surveys for the Live-Streamed performances of  The Hound of the Baskervilles.
