On February 1, North Middle School Band Director Brittany Froedge hosted an inaugural Middle School All-State Band Concert featuring 93 Middle School Honor Band students from Hardin County and across the state with guest conductor James Hairston of Texas. They performed before an audience of 325.

On February 3, 17 area youth participated in the Hardin County Derby Festival Spelling Bee before an audience of 70.

On February 8, 46 area youth participated in the 2nd of three Youth Theatre of Hardin County Winter Workshops in prep for summer production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY.

On February 9, 135 students from North Hardin High School choirs under the direction of Beth Root performed a concert before an audience of 397.

On February 14 & 15,   20 students from North Hardin High School Drama Club under the direction of Donna Thomas presented ROMEO, YOU IDIOT before audiences totaling 137.

On February 20, 21 & 23, 45 students from North Hardin High School choirs under the direction of Beth Root presented two student performances and one public performance of MULAN before audiences totaling 1375 and 469 respectively.

On February 20, the PAC hosted the Hardin County Board of Education Meeting. 106 students were recognized for achievements before an audience of 160.

On February 28 & 29, 28 students from John Hardin High School under the direction of Phyllis Westfall presented two school day performances and two public performances of HAIRSPRAY before audiences of 750 and 299 respectively.

TOTAL SERVED In February: 4,139 HCS Students, 81 Non-HCS Students, 55 Adults, and 1553 Public Audience Members.
