SUMMARY:Third Party Event: Baptist Health Hardin Community Health and Wellness Department: Overdose Simulation and Awareness
DESCRIPTION:Baptist Health Hardin Community Health and Wellness Department: Overdose Simulation and Awareness\nThis program will follow the same format as the simulation that was presented to more than 7\,000 local high students last school year. Attendees will observe the severe stress of a mother finding her adolescent child after a drug overdose. Emergency Medical Service staff respond and present the child to healthcare providers at Baptist Health Hardin. Local Police officers simulate their role in supporting the mother in her distress. A panel of local professionals who work with overdose victims and families share statistics\, overdose prevention\, harm reduction\, and other educational resources for families and community members. The panel information provided in this simulation will differ slightly from the panel provided to local high school teens\, as this event is geared towards parental and community awareness. \nRun Time: Approx 50 minutes\nRated G: The program’s content is designed for individuals 18 years and older. Children and teens under 18 should not attend this performance.\nOn Sale: Now\nTickets: All tickets are free but must reserve\nPublic Performances: 11/7 @ 6PM \nGet Your Tickets Here \nAll tickets reserved through the PAC at www.thepac.net or 270-769-8837 X 4 or 5. \nDonations made on this site benefit the Performing Arts Center\, and we graciously accept your support.
